Most of what comes in is one of two things — paperwork that suddenly became urgent because somebody was admitted, or paperwork that was always going to be signed and finally has a date. Both are handled the same way: arrive on time, check the identification properly, complete the notarial certificate correctly, and leave nothing for somebody to argue about later.

A notary public is not an attorney. That means no advice on which document you need, no explanation of what a clause does, and no filling in a form on your behalf. It is a narrow job, and the value is in doing the narrow job exactly.
